This book is not about asking you to swing through the trees, or adopt a hunter-gatherer way of life, it's about raising awareness about both the importance of moving more regularly through daily life and making it easier to do so, but equally importantly, shining a light on the fact that the way we move matters and offering you a variety of movements to incorporate for the rest of your life.
Getting started is made easy with small simple changes, in the form of accessible movements that can be added into the day with little extra time needed. The long-term aim is to create a mindset change where daily movement becomes a high priority, leading to changes in ability and confidence that help the reader move more, in a great variety of ways, but more importantly allows them to keep doing the things they love for all their remaining decades and even have the confidence to try new things, whatever their age.
