The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the health care system worldwide. There are new concerns regarding how to practice safe and effective acute and chronic pain medicine. Patients have questions regarding how to get vaccine and booster shots with underlying medical issues and chronic pain conditions. Health care providers have insufficient training regarding acute and chronic pain medicine in both inpatient and ambulatory care.
