One of the most prominent theologians in the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries was William J. Abraham, affectionately known as "Billy" to many. The impact of Abraham's teaching and preaching within the larger Methodist and Wesleyan families has created a substantial legacy that will continue to shape the church as well as challenge a new generation of scholarship.
